Key Areas of Expertise: A leading make-up artist on the International Circuit, Dawn has exchanged her brushes for an electric pen that will tattoo make-up into the skin with such precision that you would imagine the soft eyeliner, liplines and simulated eyebrow hairs that Dawn creates are natural.

In the 1990's, Dawn sold her beauty, make-up and hairdressing schools in order to concentrate on permanent make-up. She then became firmly established herself in Harley Street, where she trained students & treated clients from around the world. When she was not teaching, Dawn has a steady stream of clients from 8.30am, often until 8pm in the evening. Many clients were, & still are, referred from top plastic surgeons, others through personal recommendations.

For nearly 30 years, Dawn has been perfecting the art of permanent make-up, or micropigmentation as it is also known. She regularly attends overseas seminars to widen her already extensive knowledge.

In addition to applying permanent make-up, Dawn has had to remove or correct procedures that were done elsewhere with which the clients were dissatisfied. This included the removal or correction of black liplines, eyeliners that were too thick, eyebrows that had turned blue, green or red, and a lot of uneven lines around the eyes or the lips. As an Expert Witness for Permanent Make-up (Micropigmentation) she finds this area of her work increasingly distressing, and advises would-be practitioners to do extensive research before committing themselves to a training programme.
